The ChaletWhen designing Chalet Les Loups we wanted to combine the look of a traditional Savoyard Chalet with all the modern comforts and luxuries you could wish for. The Chalet was completed in the summer of 2005, and is decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard with all the amenities you could wish for from a luxury retreat. We aim to provide everything that we can, to form the
basis of your fantastic holiday. A welcome pack will greet you,
consisting of provisions for your first night and breakfast, along with
other essentials.
All linen and towels are provided and included in the cost. A washing machine and drier are at your disposal and a travel cot is available for a small supplement if required. The accommodation consists of:
To keep the chalet at the high standards expected by our guests, Les Loups is Non Smoking and we do not allow pets. Outside, Les Loups has a wonderful wooden deck, and balconies leading off both the living room and two of the bedrooms. Views to the Dent du Midi mountain range are spectacular, as is the sun coming up over the mountains in the morning. The sound of a small mountain stream burbling in the background adds to the relaxing tranquillity of the location.
The ground floor accommodates a TV / Games room, including a 42” Plasma screen with satellite TV, Video, DVD, Playstation and stereo as well as the more traditional board games. A great place for children and adults alike to relax. We also have a wide variety of books and magazines for your enjoyment.
The result is a state of the art kitchen, custom designed, and hand made by local craftsmen. Solid Maple doors contrast with Granite worktops that shimmer in the light, and the Neff appliances have been specially imported. This is a kitchen you'll feel at home in straight away, seperated from the dining/living area by a wide granite breakfast bar. Everything falls to hand, Le Creuset pans, bone china, wonderful Viners cutlery, all chosen to immerse you in the best of luxuries.
Of course, there is a dishwasher, but if you prefer to wash up by hand you'll be rewarded with views towards the famous Dent du Midi mountains.
Each bedroom has plenty of wardrobe and drawers, as well as ample hooks for hanging ski-wear on at the end of a hard day on the slopes. Two have access onto the south facing upper balcony, with fantastic views across the Abondance valley above the River Dranse. One of the bedrooms has its own contemporary en-suite shower room, whilst the others share a bathroom and separate toilet room. A travel cot can also be provided for a small supplement if required.
The ensuite is stunningly contemporary, featuring specially imported tiles and glass basin. The tiled floor is heated to add to the luxury. The cloakroom features a purpose built washstand as well as a large coat cupboard. There is an additional toilet room on the top floor.
